How many of you have thought about building your own wireless smart home or IoT solution? There are plenty of manufacturers that offer own wireless controllers: Ajax, Aeotec, Xiaomi, etc. Unfortunately, many of them lock you with their proprietary servers or the price of the controllers is insane.
At the Firebase & IoT codelab, you will have a chance to build your own smart device with ESP8266 Wi-Fi modules and connect it to Firebase to send sensor data, control servo motors, relays, and LEDs.
Our speaker:
Jaroslav Khorishchenko — Full Stack Web Engineer at Smart App Studio Ukraine He specializes in React and Node.js. Jaroslav has come to the word of programming from electronics. He loves to write about his different interesting experiments on his Facebook page.
